Practical usage

Primarily used in CW traffic-net operation (ARRL National Traffic System), not general-purpose amateur conversation. QN signals were created in 1939 on Michigan's QMN net specifically to reduce net-control workload, and were later published by ARRL — treat this as a specialized traffic-net vocabulary, not everyday Q-code usage.
